Today, January 7, 2020, a yearly updated Independent Contractor Agreement/Terms of Service goes into effect. All ICís registered with Confero will need to read and agree to the updated agreement before being be able to apply for or be assigned to shops. Please look for this new ICA from the link in your shopper profile. All opportunities are subject to the terms of the Independent Contractor Agreement.

We are writing to inform you that Prism Intelligence informed the MSPA (Mystery Shopping Professionals Association) that there was a data breach attempt on the PRISM platform yesterday, 3.21.19, whereas someone had obtained a database with user names, emails, and passwords and were attempting to login to their platform on a massive scale to overwrite shoppers PayPal email address so that payments due them would be redirected to these hackers. Some evaluators' PayPal addresses had been surreptitiously changed so that their payments were redirected to fraudulent recipients. Conferoís shopper database has NOT been affected. Confero uses the SASSIE platform which has no connection to PRISM.

As a precaution, Confero is urging shoppers to be proactive and to update their Confero Compass (Sassie software platform) password. There is no indication any shoppers who are registered on a Sassie platform have been affected, however we do believe it to be wise to periodically update your passwords for any and all accounts.


SHOPPER INFO



After you log in to request or assign yourself the shop, only the possible dates for YOU will show. This is based on your prior shops (if any), rotation requirements, your tests/qualifications, rating and the maximum shops per shopper. If no dates show for you, or if you do not meet all the parameters of the shop, you may still apply for the shop to register your interest but self assign may not be available to you.
